E-COMMERCE – COLOGNE

Shopify agency for shops that go live quickly and predictably

Want to have your Shopify shop built? We take care of setup, design, payment and shipping methods and the connection to your ERP system. With a dedicated team, a clear schedule and support after go-live.

Shopify is usually the right fit if you sell to consumers and want to start quickly. If you sell B2B or need a lot of custom functionality, Shopware is often the better choice. We do both and take a close look at your case.

OUR PROMISE

A Shopify shop that launches on schedule and grows with your business.

Shopify is a hosted shop system: Shopify takes care of servers, updates and security, and you pay a monthly fee. This lets you sell online quickly and with manageable effort. We set up your shop so that it fits your processes from day one: with your design, your payment and shipping methods and the connection to your ERP system.

WHO IT IS FOR
• You mainly sell to consumers (B2C).
• Your processes are fairly standard: products, variants, cart, shipping.
• You want to launch an online shop or replace your old one without a months-long project.
• You don't want to maintain items, stock and orders twice, but sync them with your ERP system.

The more customized your shop needs to be, the more likely Shopware is the better choice. Shopify or Shopware?

SCOPE OF SERVICES

What we deliver for you as a Shopify agency

Shopify shop with an interface to the ERP system: items, stock levels and orders are synced automatically

01 Service

Shop setup & design

Our Shopify developers set up your shop: theme and design, products and variants, payment and shipping methods, legal texts and tracking. Everything your shop needs to sell from day one.

02 Service

ERP & inventory integration

We connect Shopify to your ERP system, whichever one you use, for example SelectLine. Items, prices, stock levels and orders are synced automatically, so you never maintain anything twice.

03 Service

Migration to Shopify

Already have a shop? During the migration to Shopify, we move products, customer data and content and set up redirects so your Google rankings are preserved.

04 Service

Support after go-live

We don't leave you alone after launch: we keep supporting your shop and implement new features, apps and changes as your shop grows.

PROCESS & METHOD

How a Shopify project works, for example in around 4 weeks.

Example timeline: a Shopify shop in around 4 weeks, from kick-off and setup to go-live

Week 1

Kick-off & setup

We clarify product range, design and processes, set up Shopify and check the connection to your ERP system.

Weeks 2–3

Build the shop

Theme, products, payment and shipping methods and the interface. You can follow the progress in the test shop at any time.

Week 4

Testing & feedback

Together we test orders, payments and data sync and implement your feedback.

Go-live

Acceptance & launch

After your sign-off, the shop goes live. We are there for the launch and show your team how to maintain the shop.

COSTS

What does a Shopify shop cost?

That depends on your product range, your design and the interfaces. We don't offer a standard package: you get a quote tailored to your shop and your situation, with a clear scope and schedule.

Tailored quote:

In a free initial call, we clarify what your shop needs to do. Afterwards, you get a quote with a clear scope.

What determines the price:

Number of products and variants, design customizations, interfaces to your ERP system and a possible migration from your old shop.

Additional costs:

The Shopify subscription, paid apps and premium themes. You provide texts and images, or we create them on a time-and-materials basis.

Running costs:

Shopify charges a monthly fee depending on the plan. We help you choose the right plan and continue to support your shop if you wish.

SHOPIFY OR SHOPWARE?

We build both and take a close look at your case.

Rule of thumb: B2C tends towards Shopify, B2B towards Shopware. But this is only a tendency. What matters is how customized your shop needs to be.

Shopify is a better fit if …

you mainly sell to consumers (B2C), your processes are close to standard and you don't want to deal with servers and updates.

Shopware is a better fit if …

you sell B2B, need a lot of custom functionality or want full control over code and hosting. The more customized your shop, the more likely Shopware.

Switch later? No problem.

If your shop outgrows Shopify, for example because B2B requirements come along, we support you in moving to Shopware. Products, customer data and orders move with you.

AI PRODUCT SEARCH

So your customers actually find what they are looking for: Mandelbaum.ai

Mandelbaum.ai AI product search in a Shopify shop: searching for “comfortable running shoes” shows matching running shoes and automatically generated filters

A great shop doesn't help much if the search finds nothing. This is where Mandelbaum.ai comes in, an e-commerce start-up that dynabase supports. The AI product search understands what your customers mean, not just the words they type.

01 Benefit

Results instead of empty result pages

If someone searches for “comfortable running shoes”, Mandelbaum.ai shows matching running shoes, even if the word “comfortable” appears nowhere in the catalog.

02 Benefit

Hardly any maintenance

No synonym lists, no manual filters: the search learns from your catalog and generates matching filters automatically.

03 Benefit

Connected via Shopify app

Mandelbaum.ai is available as its own Shopify app. The search is quickly integrated into your shop and adapts to your design.

04 Benefit

Data stays in Germany

Its own AI model, hosted in Germany and GDPR-compliant. Your catalog data does not go to US providers.

Frequently asked questions about Shopify shops

Still have a question? Ask us directly in a free initial call.

What does a Shopify shop cost?

That depends on your product range, the design and the interfaces. We don't offer a standard package: you get a quote tailored to your shop. On top of that come the monthly Shopify fee and, depending on your needs, paid apps or a premium theme.

How long does it take to have a Shopify shop built?

That depends on the scope. A shop connected to your ERP system can be live in around 4 weeks. Large product ranges or many special features take longer.

Shopify or Shopware: which is the better fit for me?

As a rule of thumb: B2C tends towards Shopify, B2B towards Shopware. What really matters is how customized your shop needs to be. The more customization you need, the more likely Shopware is the better choice. We build both and look at your case in detail. More on this on our page about Shopware development.

Is Shopify suitable for B2B?

In many cases, yes. Shopify now includes basic B2B features on all plans, such as company accounts and custom prices for business customers. The full B2B feature set requires Shopify Plus. For complex B2B processes, such as custom pricing logic, approvals or a very large number of variants, Shopware is often the better choice. We look at your case and recommend the right system.

Can Shopify be connected to my ERP system?

Yes. We connect Shopify to your ERP system, for example SelectLine. Items, stock levels and orders are synced automatically.

Do you migrate existing shops to Shopify?

Yes. We transfer products, customer data and content from your existing shop, for example from WooCommerce, and set up redirects so your rankings are preserved.

Do you support the shop after go-live?

Yes, always. We support your shop after launch and implement new features, apps and changes as your shop grows.

Do I need an agency or can I set up Shopify myself?

You can set up a simple shop with Shopify yourself. An agency is worth it as soon as you need an interface to your ERP system, a custom design, a migration or a fixed go-live date.
