SOFTWARE AGENCY – COLOGNE
Developing AI Agents: Automation that truly fits your processes.
Partner of igus since 2017 - Full-Service from Cologne
VALUE PROPOSITION
The difference between an AI experiment and a productive agent system.
Many companies have launched AI pilot projects that never made it into real operations. The reason is rarely the technology. It almost always comes down to the fact that AI was developed as an isolated tool rather than as an integrated part of existing processes and system landscapes.
dynabase develops AI agents that are built for productive use from the start: connected to existing ERP, CRM, and HR systems, operated in your own infrastructure, and designed so that your team understands and controls the results.
SERVICE SCOPE
What we at dynabase mean by developing AI agents?
Autonomous AI Agents
Systems that autonomously recognize, prioritize, and execute tasks – without manual triggers.
Agentic Commerce
AI-driven process automation in e-commerce: product data maintenance, price optimization, personalized customer interactions.
AI Integration into Existing Systems
Connection to ERP, CRM, HR software, and proprietary database structures via clean API interfaces.
04 Service
Data Analysis & Decision Support
Models that extract actionable signals from your operational data.
Conversational AI for B2B
Not generic chatbots, but systems that understand industry-specific language, product data, and business processes.
EU AI Act-Compliant Architecture
We consider regulatory requirements from the beginning, not as an afterthought.
APPROACH & METHODOLOGY
From potential analysis to productive agent.
Use-Case-Workshop
We analyze your existing processes and identify where AI agents can generate the greatest measurable value.
Step 2
Feasibility Analysis
Technical assessment of the system landscape, data quality, and integration possibilities.
Step 3
Prototype & Validation
A working prototype in two to four weeks that you can actually test.
Step 4
Integration & Production Deployment
Full integration into existing systems and rollout into the productive infrastructure.
Step 5
Monitoring & Further Development
Continuous tracking of agent performance and iterative improvement.
TECHNOLOGIES
Technology that runs in your infrastructure, not against it.
We rely on established, open frameworks instead of proprietary AI platforms. This means: you retain control over your data, are not tied to a single vendor, and can continue operating the system long-term with any development team.
LLM Integration
Connection to OpenAI, Anthropic, and open models depending on requirements and data protection regulations.
LangChain & LangGraph
For controllable, stateful agent systems.
Containerized Operation
Kubernetes-based deployment in your own cloud or on-premises.
Legacy Systems
REST and GraphQL APIs, ERP and CRM connectors.
INDUSTRIES & USE CASES
AI Agents for demanding industries.
1. Industry & Mechanical Engineering
Automated data processing from manufacturing systems, intelligent product categorization, AI-supported document processing.
2. Healthcare
Document analysis, structured data extraction, and process automation under strict data protection requirements.
3. Public Sector
Automated monitoring, anomaly detection in operational data, and rule-based decision support.
4. E-Commerce & Agentic Commerce
Autonomous agents that maintain product data, adjust prices, and handle customer inquiries – without manual intervention.

WHY DYNABASE
Building AI agents is software development, not consulting.
Many AI agencies deliver strategy papers and proofs of concept. dynabase develops software that runs productively. As a Cologne-based software development company with over ten years of experience in complex B2B systems, we know what it means to permanently integrate AI into existing corporate infrastructure. No lab setup that fails in real operation.
Companies looking to develop AI agents find a technical partner in dynabase that accompanies them from the initial potential analysis through to long-term operation.
✓ 10+ years of B2B software development
✓ Full-service instead of pure consulting
✓ EU AI Act compliant
✓ Operated in your infrastructure
Still have another question? Ask us directly in a free initial consultation.
What does it cost to develop an AI agent?
That depends heavily on the integration effort: how many systems need to be connected, how complex the processes are, and what requirements exist for data protection and operation. Simpler agents with a single system connection start in the mid five-figure range. Complex agent systems with multiple interfaces are correspondingly higher. We provide an initial estimate in the free initial consultation. Komplexe Agentensysteme mit mehreren Schnittstellen liegen entsprechend höher. Im kostenlosen Erstgespräch geben wir eine erste Einschätzung.
What is the difference between an AI agent and a chatbot?
A chatbot answers questions. An AI agent acts autonomously: it recognizes when a task arises, makes decisions, executes actions, and reports results back – without a human having to trigger every step.
How long does the development of an AI agent system take?
We deliver a first working prototype in two to four weeks. The path to the productive system with full system integration takes between two and five months depending on scope.
Do we need to transfer our data to a cloud provider's AI system?
No. We build AI systems that are operated in your own infrastructure. Depending on requirements, fully on-premises setups with open-source language models are also possible. Your data stays where it belongs.
Is the EU AI Act relevant for our use case?
The EU AI Act has been in effect since 2024 and, depending on the risk level, places different requirements on transparency, documentation, and human oversight. We consider regulatory requirements from the beginning and advise which level applies to your specific use case.
