Basic idea
The QS-Monitor is a tool for the automated calculation of data quality, designed to provide a foundation for improving data quality.
THE WHOLE STORY
After five years of use and further development, the current system had reached its technical and operational limits - particularly in terms of maintainability, scalability, and performance. The integration of new class specifications and the connection of additional systems are also increasingly complex. The aim was therefore to transform and redevelop the QS-Monitor based on a future-proof system architecture.
CHALLENGES
This project combined numerous technical requirements with a high demand for user-friendliness and performance. The intention was to present a large amount of complex data and calculation logic in a clear and intuitive interface - without compromising on speed.
A simulation mode was intended to make users' day-to-day work more efficient, while differentiated role and rights management ensured maximum security. The integration of large Excel files and a deep connection to existing SharePoint structures was particularly challenging.
In addition, the solution had to be integrated into an on-premises Kubernetes infrastructure - while adhering to a very ambitious schedule.

RESUME
Thanks to a powerful technology stack (Go, React, Kubernetes) that was carefully evaluated in advance, a stable and future-proof solution was implemented. The close, constructive collaboration with the customer was a key success factor - characterized by trust, openness and a clear vision.
The result: a high-performance application with real added value in day-to-day work - and a satisfied customer who was won over by efficiency, transparency and user-friendliness.
