Basic idea
With Mandelbaum.ai, we have developed an AI search solution for online stores that delivers smarter search results - simply, quickly and without developer effort. The goal was to provide a powerful AI search that enables even smaller stores to benefit from state-of-the-art AI - at a fraction of the usual complexity and cost.
THE WHOLE STORY
The idea for Mandelbaum.ai arose from experience with e-commerce projects that often lacked a satisfactory search solution. Existing tools were either technically outdated, expensive or difficult to integrate. So we asked ourselves: why not build something ourselves that just works?
The result is a no-code AI search that delivers results immediately: Users enter what they are looking for - whether it's a product, blog post or FAQ - and receive relevant results. Thanks to the integrated dashboard, the design, weighting and behavior of the search can be completely customized - without a single line of code.
Right from the start, our aim was to be quick to implement, smart in terms of results, minimal in terms of effort and to offer real added value.
CHALLENGES
Real intelligence in search is complex. We had to create a solution that was still easy to use with high performance - even for stores without their own development team. That meant

- Data protection compliance (GDPR), hosting in Europe
- Dynamic control via an intuitive dashboard
- Compatibility with existing CMS, store systems and APIs
Data integration was also challenging: product information is stored differently depending on the store structure. Our solution automatically recognizes product types, structures the content and links everything semantically.
