Research in the field of chat GPT-driven e-commerce

Basic idea
Research into an AI assistant for consulting and purchasing industrial products.
With echainGPT we have tested whether it is possible,
to make AI technology usable for our customer.
THE WHOLE STORY
ChatGPT came out in spring and of course we were also flashed. What a cool thing! We absolutely had to play around with it! So we built various prototypes: A vector-based search, an app with general voice conversation and an assistant for configurators.
It was all quite interesting, but none of it really impressed us.
Then we thought we'd try something different: we'd make a 1:1 copy of chatGPT and add new features that we find interesting for eCommerce. The whole thing in the context of our customer igus with the connection of products, prices and calculation logics. That was the first time we had a wow experience: this is the future!

We now have a very interesting research project on the question: What customer benefits can be achieved in eCommerce with ChatGPT?
This project is ongoing and we are constantly learning, not only in terms of customer benefit, but also technically.
We can now design and implement our own LLM services, like in our free AI-Search for the e-commerce Mandelbaum.ai
